New places and new forms of workouts can be intimidating and we are here for you! I’ll cover the basics of Pilates, yoga and Bounce classes here, but please feel free to call us if you have more questions at 562.794.3551. For your convenience, we are a paperless studio which allows you to book your appointments, submit payment, sign the liability waiver and create your client profile all online here. Sometimes it’s nice to speak directly to an instructor, we get it. Garage Pilates is located on the northeast corner of the Katella/Los Alamitos Blvd intersection. Our studio isn’t visible from the street and our front door faces the courtyard fountain between Kampai Sushi and Thailusion restaurants.
We are an inner corner unit. If you have never tried yoga or Pilates before, we have 2 suggestions for you: register for a yoga or Mat Pilates class to start OR schedule a 30 or 50 minute private lesson to get some individual guidance and instruction before joining a Group Reformer Class. These can be booked through this website by selecting “BOOK A CLASS”. When booking a class, new clients may enter the coupon code NEW to receive half off your class. If you have any injuries or health concerns, we highly recommend that you schedule a private lesson. That way we can communicate directly with you and focus all instructor attention and energy on giving you a safe workout. Often times in this private lesson, we are able to give you the modifications you would need to safely enjoy a group class and you’re able to transition easily. It is recommended to wear grippy socks for your Pilates classes which can be purchased at the studio. Yoga can be in grippy socks or barefoot.
Our Bounce classes operate differently: tennis shoes required. Plan on getting that heartrate up and bring a sweat towel. Bounce workouts involve choreographed jumping on the mini-trampoline as well as toning exercises both on and off of the trampoline. It’s a great well-rounded workout. Bring a full water bottle! All fitness and experience levels welcome as our instructors will offer different versions and modifications of the movements to make the workout more or less intense, depending on your specific needs for that day.
